Double-hand Poker is a modern game with ancient ancestry. Built on the old Chinese domino game and the modern American adaptation of poker, Pai Gow poker bands together the eastern with the wild west in a wonderful game for new players.

Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the player against the croupier, unlike nearly all other poker games that players compete against other gamblers. By betting against the dealer, new players do not have to be concerned about other, more advanced individuals taking their cash.

Another Pai Gow edge is the generally slow game pace, novices can take their time and plan without having to make quick decisions.

It is also simpler to gamble on for a very long time with just a little bit of money after all, to not win, each of your hands must be lower than both of the houses hands.

Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the regular 52-card standard deck and one joker. The gambler is dealt seven cards face up and the dealer is given 7 cards face down.

A 5 card hand and a two card hand must be made from the 7 cards, the five card hand must be stronger than the 2 card hand. To win, a player is required to have both of his hand totals to be larger than the casino’s.
