Pai Gow Poker is a modern game with ancient origins. Founded on the old Chinese domino game and the modern American version of poker, Pai Gow poker joins the eastern with the western in an excellent game for beginning level gamblers.

Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the gambler vs. the dealer, not like the majority of other poker games that players bet with other gamblers. By competing against the dealer, starting players don’t have to be concerned about other, more advanced players winning their money.

An additional Pai Gow advantage is the generally leisurely game play, novices should be able to take their time and plan without having to make quick choices.

It is also simpler to bet on for a very long time with basically a small bit of money since, to not win, both of your hands must be under both of the houses hands.

Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the customary 52-card basic deck and one joker. The gambler is given 7 cards faces showing and the dealer receives seven cards faces hidden.

One 5 card hand and one two card hand have to be made from the 7 cards, the five card hand has to be stronger than the 2 card hand. To win, a player is required to have both of his hand values to be higher than the dealer’s.
