Poker has become world celebrated as of late, with televised tournaments and celebrity poker game shows. The games universal appeal, though, stretches back in reality a bit farther than its TV scores. Over the years several types on the original poker game have been created, including a few games that are not really poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of these particular games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely related to 21 than old guard poker, in that the gamblers wager against the dealer instead of each other. The winning hands, are the established poker hands. There is little conniving or different kinds of deception. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to ante up prior to the croupier declares "No more bets." At that instance, both you and the bank and of course all of the different players are given 5 cards. Once you have seen your hand and the casino’s initial card, you have to in turn make a call bet or give up. The call wager’s value is akin to your beginning wager, indicating that the stakes will have increased two fold. Abandoning means that your wager goes directly to the dealer. After the wager comes the conclusion. If the house doesn’t have ace/king or greater, your wager is returned, plus a sum equal to the original wager. If the house has a hand with ace/king or better, you succeed if your hand defeats the bank’s hand. The bank pays out money even with your original bet and fixed odds on your call bet. These odds are:
- Even for a pair or high card
- two to one for two pairs
- 3-1 for 3 of a kind
- 4-1 for a straight
- five to one for a flush
- 7-1 for a full house
- 20-1 for a four of a kind
- 50-1 for a straight flush
- one hundred to one for a royal flush
