Phil Ivey has been branded as the best poker contender on the globe by quite a few of the top-ranked pros. Phil Ivey was born in Riverside, CA and relocated to New Jersey before his first birthday. His papa taught him penny-ante Five-Card Stud poker. From that point on, Phil was addicted to poker and wanted to pickup anything he could about poker. Phil decided to take his skills to the successive level and headed out west to Vegas. He continues to participate in in "The Big Game" at the Bellagio with the best players in the world. Ivey credits his achievements to hard work and an undying passion for poker. Phil states that he is picking up skills every single day and is quite abashed about his success. Phil knows he makes mistakes in each game of poker and always aspires to get better.
